    Graeme Fullwood

My name is Graeme and I am a photographer, LGBTQ activist, video maker & blogger. I enjoy sharing things, which is why I've been drawn to blogging and social media. Blogging allows me to have my own platform to talk about the things I feel need to be discussed and those that are important to me. My blog isn't primarily focused on one topic, I like to think of it as an amalgamation of all blogs circulating the web at the moment. I'll do a bit of everything, from product reviews, book talk, politics discussion and general life updates. I hope you all enjoy my space, and feel free to get in touch.

Coffee Saloon, Lush Spa and Office Photography

February 28th, 2017 will go down as one of the better days. It was good, great, in fact. The day started with a coffee, but not just any coffee. I ventured to the ever so popular Coffee Saloon, here in Poole. Their store is a visual delight; reclaimed wood, scaffolding, and bare red brick illuminated by warm vintage lightbulbs. The shop is only a small space, but it does have great impact.

As someone who is trying to cut out dairy as much as I can, I went for the Soy Latte and it was incredible. The flavour of the coffee bean wasn't too strong, nor was it too weak so all you got was the sweetened Soy. It was one of the most enjoyable cups of coffee I've had in a long, long time.

Their table decoration is top notch, also. Nothing too over the top; a simple candle held in pace by a small jar of coffee beans. Very simple, but super effective. The heat of the candle sent the coffee aroma into the air, which makes the overall atmosphere of the room wonderfully relaxing.

As you can see, my cup has a special message on the holder - a sweet little message from Hilary.

Next on my agenda was a trip to the Lush Spa. This was my first ever spa treatment and it didn't fail to live up to expectation. I opted for The Spell - a relaxing foot treatment, inspired by reflexology. The treatment is designed to take away all worry and troubles you're holding onto.

You start by writing down your worry and just before the treatment begins, you pop it in the copper kettle and set the worry alight, incinerating it and sending the ash into the air.

The Spell comes to an end with a refreshing cup of tea, infused with lemongrass, lemon, and mint. You're offered an affirmation also, which reads as follows:

With my feet, I stand in truth. I move forward with joy, understanding and courage.

Overall, as my first treatment, it was beautiful. I won't go into too much detail, but the music, lighting and the choreography of the therapist are wonderful. Definitely a must have if you're holding in a lot of anxiety or worry.

The rest of the day was a write-off, to be honest. I spent it replying to emails, organising social content and photographing some beautiful Metamorphosis bath bombs, for an upcoming feature for work.

Overall, a great Tuesday. No pancakes, however - gutted about that!
