Lush Favourites: Karma & The Voice of Reason

Lush houses many beautiful products, so many in fact that it has taken me quite a long time to be able to state which are my favourites. Below are just a few of my loves, there's a mixture of bath products, perfume and body care. I hope you gain something from this...

Karma Kream, Karma Soap and Karma Bubble Bar available here
Karma, the smell of Lush as they say, is without a doubt one of my favourite smells from their product collection. Coming at us in many forms: a body lotion, soap, bubble bars, perfume and a shampoo, Karma gives us a zesty orange smell teamed with Patchouli oil, Pine oil and Lemongrass oil that lingers on the skin for quite some time. The Lush soap lathers really well and moisturises the skin, as well perfuming it; best used with a quick smother of Karma Kream afterwards for an emphasised scent which will be with you all day. For the ultimate Karma experience, use all of the products together and if you're extremely lucky to have the rare Karma shower gel, you're winning!

The Voice of Reason
The Voice of Reason - Available here
This little beauty is my all time favourite perfume, quickly overtaking my love for Viktor and Rolf, JPG and Versace Blue Jeans. Influenced by my favourite writers Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg, this warm and soothing oily perfume lingers on the skin and changes under different humidities. With the inclusion of Sandalwood Oil, Buddah Wood Oil and Rose Oil, this perfume is smokey and is described by The Silver Fox as "smoke incarnate. Devil’s breath, exhaled through jazz trumpets and wrapped in sin" and as a description, that's is VERY me. I love wearing this when on nights out with a dab of Karma underneath, giving a slightly sweeter smell when going from bar to bar.
